Radiology

Radiology, which is a specialty in which diseases are diagnosed by scanning the interior of the human body through strong magnetic fields and high frequency sound waves, plays a very important role in the determination of the disease. With more than one different imaging, the structure of the body can be observed, thus increasing the success rate in curing the disease.

In our Maltepe University Hospital Radiology Clinic, our radiology examinations are carefully carried out under the supervision of our high-tech devices and our specialist doctors, and they are carried out in a completely controlled manner.

There are devices such as imaging devices, computed tomography, ultrasonography, x-ray and angiography, all of which are licensed by the Ministry of Health and the Turkish Atomic Energy Agency and regularly maintained.

Interventional Radiology

All kinds of biopsy, catheter insertion, non-surgical treatment of tumors and oncological interventions are performed by our interventional radiologists in our department.

Breast Diseases

In breast diseases, mammography, ultrasonography and MRI methods are performed by our specialist physicians.

Prostate Cancer and Non-Surgical Varicose Treatment

Multiparametric prostate MRI and fusion prostate biopsy, which are used to detect prostate cancer at an early stage, are performed by our senior academic specialists in our department, and varicose veins treatment is applied to our patients without the need for surgery with the laser method, which is considered as non-surgical treatment in varicose disease.
