Maltepe University Faculty of Medicine Hospitals Department of Endocrine Surgery provides medical and surgical treatments from adrenal gland diseases to pancreas, thyroid to parathyroid with an experienced team of endocrinologists and general surgery specialists.
A joint service is provided with the participation of pathology, radiology, oncology and nuclear medicine specialists by following a multidisciplinary approach in the diagnosis and treatment processes of patients.

Fine-needle aspiration biopsy is performed in the diagnosis of thyroid nodules in Maltepe University Faculty of Medicine Hospitals Department of Endocrine Surgery. Surgical treatment is performed by laparoscopic or open method.
Laparoscopic surgery is also applied in the surgery of pancreatic and adrenal gland endocrine tumors.
Nuclear medicine units and radiology departments work together in the diagnosis processes of the patients, and the oncological treatment process is planned by directing the patients diagnosed with cancer to the relevant branches.
